About These Shades
Designer Banded Shades by Hunter Douglas feature alternating sheer fabric with bands of solid fabric, which provides the perfect solution for not only light control, but also view-through and privacy. Designed with a square fabric-wrapped cassette, the Designer Banded Shade emulates the look of a shade with two layers of fabric. The bottom rail bar adds to the fashion-forward look of this shade. It actually tapers the fabric from the top of the shade to bottom.
Flexibility in Looks
Designer Banded Shades come in many different fabrics—the collection includes many solids, textures, and beautiful colors. The fabrics are available in light-filtering and room-darkening opacities, so they’re perfect for any room in your home. Be sure to check out all of the fabric options!
Designer Banded Shade Design
The Designer Banded shade is extremely flexible. It can be opened or closed in the raised or lowered position. This option is not available with wood or faux wood blinds, and you can’t do this with a cellular shade. The shade comes standard with a custom clutch lifting system that provides shade-to-shade lift uniformity. You could also choose the exclusive Hunter Douglas UltraGlide® system or the new SoftTouch™ Motorization system. Both the UltraGlide® and SoftTouch™ Motorization systems provide superior child safety because neither has exposed cords.
