Bill Cole
Bill Cole brings 25 years commercial and residential construction and building materials sales management experience to GB&I.
An Atlanta native, Bill grew up in Decatur where he attended Lakeside High School and later UGA.
When he’s not working in the business he owns with his wife Pam, Bill enjoys outdoor sports like hunting, fishing, camping, running, biking, swimming and driving his Red 1996 Porsche Carrera on the Tail of the Dragon. Recent accomplishments include running a half marathon and completing a triathlon.
Laura Adams
Laura Adams is also a native Atlantan. Currently hailing from Roswell, she has a son at Georgia College and State University and a daughter at Roswell High school. She spends her free time with her husband indulging in favorite hobbies like reading and gardening.
Laura attended both Georgia State University and Auburn University.
Pam Cole
With 12 years of window covering and design experience plus a bronze level certification from the Hunter Douglas Window Fashion Institute, Pam Cole brings a wealth of knowledge to the homeowners, builders and designers visiting her showroom.
Once featured in the Marietta Daily Journal for her Windows that WOW (438K PDF), Pam has gained popularity for her residential and commercial window designs. Pam often acts as a project manager for new home builders and remodelers, interfacing with the home buyers and sometimes real estate professionals to offer value in crucial design decisions during construction.
Beyond window coverings, Pam counts among her specialties lifestyle designs like screen porch shades, black-out treatments for media rooms and window films to protect upholstery and floor coverings.
Besides her new residential construction work, Pam has 7 times aided clients in their efforts to Flip This House and continues to receive calls seeking help with medical office and commercial storefronts.
Pam is the proud mother of a U.S. Marine veteran and an Alpha Delta Pi at Valdosta State University. A member of Johnson Ferry Baptist Church, she enjoys participating in outdoor sports like tennis, running and snow skiing plus traveling with her husband Bill.
Cheryl Wolhar
Before joining GB&I, Cheryl Wolhar spent nearly 30 years with a national graphic arts distributor and in retail sales management where she designed everything from furnishings to window displays.
Her hobbies and interests include snow skiing, boating, travel, gardening, floral design, remodeling, cooking, pets, and supporting her son in track and cross country competitions.
Cheryl earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina and resides in East Cobb with her husband John and son CJ, a student at Lassiter High School.
Dick Lanyi
A former buyer for May Co, Elder Beerman, Hecht and Davidson Department Stores, Dick Lanyi brings a wealth of fashion merchandising experience to his commercial and residential design projects.
Immediately prior to joining GB&I, Dick was a buyer, manager and owner of several other Marietta-area window covering and decorative fabric retailers.
A U.S. Navy veteran, Dick studied oceanographic research and electronics then attended Duquesne Business School in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Dick boasts four children and eight grandchildren and spends his free time playing golf, gardening and volunteering with the Knights of Columbus.
Sherie Blumberg
Sherie boasts 15 years experience specializing in decorative window treatments for residential and commercial interior design.
She counts among her career highlights designing the lobby for the corporate office of the American Heart Association in Marietta, Georgia.
It was her attention to detail that made her the perfect choice for a year-long residential design project that spanned every corner of a 22 room house and included selection and placement of furniture, floral arrangements, bedding, accessories, decorative rugs and artwork.
Sherie enjoys traveling, entertaining and gardening with her husband Rick.
